Project CARE Raises Awareness on Social Death Across Europe

Over 400 people reached through international and national awareness activities

Project CARE has successfully completed a major phase of its work aimed at raising awareness about social death and social isolation in adult education and workplace contexts.

Over recent months, the project delivered:

  • One transnational online webinar, and

  • A series of national dissemination events across partner countries

Altogether, more than 400 participants took part in these activities, including adult educators, adult learners, employed adults, and representatives of small and medium--sized enterprises (SMEs). The events provided safe and engagind spaces

What’s Coming Next

A Follow-up Mapping Report on Social Death Awareness will be published March 2026.

The report will:

  • Show how awareness and attitudes changed after the campaign

  • Highlight key learning and impact across target groups

  • Support future work on inclusion, dignity, and social connection

Final Project Meeting in Riga

The final transnational project meeting took place on 5–6 February 2026 in Riga.

During the meeting, partners:

  • Reviewed project results and overall impact

  • Discussed sustainability and long-term use of CARE outputs

  • Agreed on final dissemination steps and timelines

The meeting also offered space for reflection on collaboration, shared learning, and the human connections built throughout the project.
